IT-LAN Philosophy

The founder members of it-lan.com came together one rainy weekend in a european country, around a log fire with lots of beers and wine. We all got to know eachother from gaming online together for many years, and eventually we got the courage to meet up, and after a few of the beers were consumed, we decided to make a dream into a reality.
Our main experience in participating in LAN Parties and LAN tournaments was that after the second time playing, we did not experience anything majorly new. It was still the same running system, with games being played, Pizzas being ordered and beer being drunk.
There was an element of fun involved, but the main aspect that wasn't ever delved into was the joyous laughter introduced into the background hum of the PC's stacked up all next to eachother.
So, in order for us to make a new gaming experience around, we have decided to keep a mental note on the events we shall be hosting and then incorporate such ideas into the LAN Parties and Tournaments. With the expert consulting help of silent partners, who have worked in this field for many years, we are forthright enough to say that we will become the top LAN Party and Tournament organisers in Europe within the next years.
We agree to Electronic Arts Sport's slogan "It's in the game" - but we tend to add the word "Spirit" into such a comment. It's in the spirit of the game that drives all of the founders of it-lan.com. If any game is successful, we will incorportate it into the next event.
